CALL TO ORDER

President Fran Krizman called the meeting to order at 12:38 p.m.

MINUTES

The Minutes of the last Annual Meeting, December 15, 2007, were read and approved.

TREASURER’S REPORT.

Nan Watson reported that the balance, as of November 30, 2008, in the Checking Account was $12, 148.01; the balance in the Building Fund was $18,041.04, for a total of $30,189.05. The report was accepted.

MEMBERSHIP

No report.

OLD BUSINESS

Tournament Reports: Vice President Nancy Hora thanked everyone for their support and help with the Tournaments this year. The Spring Regional Tournament was well-attended and showed a profit of $3, 228.46. The Fall Sectional Tournament, however, produced a deficit of $820.52.

NEW BUSINESS

Director Appreciation: In recognition for the time that directors spent each week directing the games, Fran presented each of them a token of appreciation. Those recognized were: Edith Sandifer, Ed Stephens, Nan Watson, and Barbara Slaughter.

Tuesday Club: Jane Mahoney presented a gift of appreciation to Nan Watson, director of the Tuesday Club games.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Fran presented the Slate of Officers for 2009. President: Barbara Slaughter, Vice President, Burke Brown; Secretary, Beth Carbonneau; Membership, Jean White; Treasurer, Jane Mahoney. Members at Large: Edith Sandifer, Bill Barton, and Judy Kiper; Ex-Officio, Fran Krizman.

Following the close of the meeting, Nancy Hora presented a gift of appreciation to Fran Krizman, president, for a job well done.

The meeting adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
