Minutes of the Board of Director’s Meeting, Unit 215, South Alabama Bridge Assn.

Called Meeting

CALL TO ORDER

President Fran Krizman called the meeting to order at 1:50 p.m. Present were Fran, Ed Stephens, Margaret Miller, Nan Watson, Jean White, Bill Barton, and Nancy Hora. Absent: Barbara Slaughter and William (Bill) McGlasson.

Friendship Game: Fran stated that she called the meeting to discuss the Unit 215 Friendship Game. It is scheduled to be held Monday, March 26^th, in Fairhope. Game time would be 12:30 p.m. Ed, Chair of the Friendship Game committee, opened the meeting for discussion. In the discussion, it was reported that the Mobile Club members were mixed, i.e., some supported the games, whereas others did not. Also the issue of what to do about lunch was raised, since food is not allowed to be served in the game room. After discussion, it was suggested that lunch not be served. And, Ed said that signs would be posted for car pooling.

A motion was made by Jean seconded by Nancy that the Unit sponsor this game and that the Mobile Bridge Club participate in the games. A call for the vote yielded 5 yes; 2 abstentions.

The regularly meeting of the Board will be March 28^th.
