Minutes of the Board of Director’s Meeting, Unit 215 South Alabama Bridge Assn.

CALL TO ORDER

President Ed Stephens called the meeting to order at 1:59 PM. Present were Phyllis 
Haydel, Jane Mahoney, Rhoda Herzog, Jackie Watson, Fran Krizman, Edith Sandifer and 
Charles Brown.  Anna Rominger was absent. The minutes of the October meeting were 
approved as read.

TREASURER’S REPORT
Jane reported a balance of $8,307.94 in the checking account, and $20,859.57 in the 
Building Fund.

MEMBERSHIP
Rhoda reported current membership of 261.

OLD BUSINESS
Tournaments – Phyllis reports the Gulf Shores Tournament will be held January 21-23, 
2005.  Mobile Sectional will be June 3-5, 2005.
Ed announced our web site address is southalabamabridge.org.

NEW BUSINESS
Inter-club Championship games. 
Christie Sellers will be asked to apply for dates for these games.  If there is no interest 
beyond the first game, we will cancel further dates.
Property line fence.  
The old fence must be replaced. Discussion was held regarding boundaries, borders, 
ingress and egress. Jackie and Fran will investigate the best way to install a new fence, 
perhaps with the help of a surveyor.
Master Point Leader Plaque
Ed would like to install a plaque honoring annual master point leaders. He will check on 
the initial cost of this, and engraving of the names.
Income tax
Phyllis moved we find a CPA or accountant to help with our tax problems and 
preparations. Motion seconded and carried.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4.00PM.
